In the past I was interested in writing fiction. Mostly
Sci-Fi and Fantasy stories. Of all the things I've written
only one story has ever even come close to being finished.
Actually it's not even a whole story, just the introduction
to what I hoped was going to be a grand adventure set in
TSR's SpellJammer universe. I have included this story below.
I may add additional stories at a later date.
If you feel like commenting I am always open to hearing
someone else's opinion. |
O.K.....I have decided against my better judgment
to include "Croissants of Doom" on this page. My father and
I started to write this more years ago then I care to remember.
I even came up with a fictitious author for this Epic Tale
of Adventure---one Auguste Harold Doodé, A. Harry Doodé
for short (don't worry if you don't get it this is a pun,
an inside joke if you will).

I haven't been doing much, well any writing,
in quite some time, but a friend called me one night bored
and at one point during the conversation she asked me to tell
her a story. I wasn't able to come up with anything on short
notice, but a day or so later an idea sort of popped into
my head for a story that I could have told. She had been trying
to get to bed so it just seemed natural that the story be
a Fairy Tale. Me being me it couldn't be your everyday run
of the mill Fairy Tale, and as you read it I think you will
see why. I must admit I am pretty sure I got the idea from
something I read along time ago, but cant for the life of
me remember what it was. Unfortunately I will also admit that
the story didn't come out anywhere near as good as it was
in my head. Part of the problem is that I wrote the ending
quite some time after I wrote the start and thus it wasn't
as fresh in my mind as it should have been. Of course the
reason I wrote the ending so long after is the story wasn't
really coming out as amusing as it had seemed in my head so
I stopped writing it. But here it is any way.
